The Sandero now sits on a modified version of the Renault Clio’s CMF platform which helps to improve the driving experience, while the new car’s chassis is lighter and stiffer than before. Interior quality and tech have both increased, too, which is arguably an even bigger factor in persuading small car buyers to part with their cash.
The Dacia Sandero Stepway is all about value for money. The bi-fuel manual model is the one to go for. €15,990 gets you started in ‘Essential’ specification, ‘Comfort’ is €17,790 and our test car the Stepway ‘Prestige’ starts from €19,290. Facelifted in line with the rest of the Dacia range, the 2017 model year Sandero Stepway aims to offer the lifestyle addenda and driving experience of any of the modern 'soft-roader' vehicles that ride a bit higher than their regular siblings, but we reckon it doesn't do enough to justify its considerably inflated price tag compared to a normal Sandero hatch.

Previously had a Duster Techroad (150 Bhp) and prior to that a Sandero Stepway Laurette (previous shape), This Stepway (based on the Renault Clio chassis) has really grown up. Plus points. The drivers seat moves back further for us tall people. Better looking layout inside, Rake and reach adjustment on the steering wheel.
